Gift Cards for
College™
Our mission is
to help families fund their children’s college
education.
You may be losing up to seven percent*
of your take home pay based upon how you currently pay for your purchases. “Average rates for
four-year schools are up 40 percent since 2001. Since 2000, inflation at
four-year public schools has averaged 7 percent a year – well above its
historical 4.5 percent rate. Tuitions are soaring because the states
aren’t giving their colleges as much support.” Since the cost of college
is increasing faster than the rate of inflation, it’s critical that
families recapture the take home pay they are losing.
Who We Are
Gift Cards for College™ is
a program of The National VIP Kids Network. The National VIP Kids Network
was founded in 1975 and formally incorporated in 1998 and is a 501(c)3
registered
Maryland charity. It is also a College
Savings Plan of Maryland (529 plans) strategic partner, an America’s
Promise participant, a Combined Federal Campaign affiliate (#36638), and a
United Way of the National Capitol Area affiliate (#8691).
How It Works
Simply put, paying for your
purchases with credit cards, personal checks or cash means you are losing
money with each transaction. Our over 500 sponsors want to help your
family with college funding through income tax-free rebates. It’s simple –
use gift cards to pay for your purchases: from groceries and gas to
clothing, books, restaurants, and other items.
The next step is up to you.
Download/review the Brochure, Catalog, FAQS, Order Form, Scorecard, and
make your donation, and place your first order. The longer you delay, the
more money you lose every time you make a purchase.
*Seven percent is an
average figure. Your family’s rebate depends upon your level of
participation.
